As you may have heard, last week our BR6 Restaurant had a very special visitor – top chef Allan Pickett. Allan started off as a gardener before launching his impressive career in catering. He has been a guest judge on BBC MasterChef, worked in top London establishments and opened his own critically-acclaimed restaurant ‘Piquet’ in the heart of London.
Allan certainly reached the pinnacle of his career last Wednesday though, working alongside students in BR6. Together with our students and head chef Jason Main, the team pulled together and put out three incredible courses for over 30 eager customers. From the pot roast chicken to the poached pear tatin, the food was prepared to a high quality and left all customers extremely satisfied.
